A big round of applause to the Mercedes ISD 2023-2024 Teachers of the Year! 👏🍎 ✨ These exceptional educators inspire students and colleagues alike and were recognized by Acting Superintendent Jeanne Venecia, school board members, district directors and campus principals at the annual Teacher of the Year Banquet held last week. The Elementary Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year were also announced during the banquet and will now represent Mercedes ISD at the regional level. Congratulations to Elda Torres from Zachary Taylor Elementary School and Adriana Gonzalez from Mercedes High School!
